Wind River Studio Honored as Bronze Stevie® Winner in 2021 American Business Awards®

We’re thrilled that the American Business Awards, the nation’s premier business awards program, has once again honored Wind River with a Bronze Stevie® Award in the “New Product - Cloud Infrastructure” category, this time for Wind River Studio.

Wind River Studio is also in the running for the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products. It’s certainly our favorite new product but we’d like to hear from you. You can vote for Wind River Studio at http://peopleschoice.stevieawards.com (enter short code: Z390A) before May 28.

“The American economy continues to show its resilience, and as we’re poised on the beginning of what should be a phenomenal period of growth, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of a wide range of organizations and people over the past 18 months,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “This year’s Stevie-winning nominations in The American Business Awards are testament to the ingenuity, the commitment, the passion, the adaptability, and the creativity of the American people. We look forward to celebrating this year’s winners during our virtual ceremony on June 30.”

We’re very proud of the recognition and even more excited about what our product, Wind River Studio can do for our customers.

The rise of 5G connectivity also creates the potential to have a transformative impact across industries. Use cases in areas such as industrial automation/IIoT, autonomous vehicles, drones, and medical systems involve high stakes and demand more intensive requirements, specifically in regard to low latency, smaller footprint, and reliability. Wind River Studio can help companies deliver a distributed edge cloud solution for these demanding 5G use cases, and Wind River’s unique presence across these industries can help service providers enable this cross-industry 5G adoption.

Studio combines a fully cloud native, Kubernetes and container-based architecture with the ability to manage a physically and geographically separated infrastructure. While existing cloud infrastructure is unable to meet the new edge compute requirements which applications such as 5G, IoT, and MEC introduce, Studio is optimized for the network edge and offers service providers such as Verizon a true option for deploying 5G vRAN.

With more than 3,800 nominations submitted this year, we congratulate all our fellow Stevie Award winners. We also want to thank the more than 250 professionals worldwide who participated in the judging process to select this year’s Steve Award winners. We look forward to (virtually) celebrating with the Wind River team and other winners at the 2021 ABA Awards ceremony in June and to Wind River Studio’s continued contributions this year.
