Coming from a DSO Company it was interesting to visit the UK ESS in Birmingham this week. The first thing I noticed there was a distinct lack of traditional software vendors there; no Linux vendors for instance, couple of RTOS vendors,couple of  DSO Companies, and also none of the Semi companies there.
