Software Defined Radio for the Common Man

brings a gleam to their eyes: to them it means multiple levels of
security, the ability to share and protect data, and the ability to
change the encodings and waveforms that implement their protocols – on
the fly.

the experts allude to a brave new world of wireless toys utilizing
SDR. It kind-of glosses over the real guts and technology of SDR.
