EclipseCon 2007 is now open for submissions, and there are some great changes this year.

Fewer and more technology-centric keynotes. Who can forget Joel’s hilarious opening keynote this year? We’re pleased to have Scott Adams of Dilbert fame starting us out next year We also have open source advocate Robert Lefkowitz and security expert Dr. Herbert Thompson.

Tutorials changes on Monday. “Tutorial Monday” will provide two new choices for attendees. Long Tutorials will now be a full day in order to allow more involved hands-on programming exercises. We are also introducing Short Tutorials to provide a deep technical introduction to a topic without adding a hands-on exercise. Short Tutorials will be 2 hours long, and you will be able to pick 3 to attend.
